You fill me with hope and light
You guide me to wonderful places
You empty my soul of dark and sadness
You take me to new heights

What must this place be,
This feeling of peaceful abyss
Can it, will it last forever

            Always

This moment is perfection
The next is sure to follow suit
As did the last.

Revisiting old scars
Diminishing past injury
Reflecting on futures

This must be one thing
One thing that seems to be gone
Nearly forgotten in my sorrows

Carry me there

My List

A partner in life, to spend life with me, not alongside.
One to build and realize hopes and dreams
A pillar for support
Encouragement and challenge
All around love, care, endearment
Presence in hardship, recovery in tragedy
Willingness to explore every corner far and near
Know and accept my needs, wants and desires
Talk to me about the bad, celebrate with me the good
One that will raise a happy healthy family
True and truthful, forthcoming and open

wee absentia

such a tiny wee thing
that i've never met
that i've never seen
how do you melt my heart
make my soul sing.

you are not there
may never be
i see your face fair
blue eyes of the sea
silken strands of golden hair.

haunting my dreams
of day and of night
tiny hands tiny feet
but of such great might
tho ne'er to meet.

Out Again

The sun shone beautifully for a while
Until a dark gloomy could came o'erhead.
It rained and stormed and the clouds parted
But the rain and storms returned.
When finally the rain stopped and the clouds departed
The sun shyly appeared.
The waters were high and the land was covered
With such a thick layer of earth
That no thing was discernible.
As the waters receded houses and trees
And birds and bees came into view.
And one day, so did I.
